Yayl Lodge,Colonial style rammed earth home with wide bullnose verandahs and is a Australia Tourist Accedeted Tourisum Business .It has king size beds or twin beds, also a selfcontained studio for famillies with children,with a double bed & 2 twin beds . With easy access off the Great Northern Highway,Yayl Lodge has ample parking and relaxing views make it a great place to break that long journy.You may like to feed the Alpacas or the Kangaroos. In the summer sit in the cool enviroment of the verandahs and watch the suns shadow creep over the hills ,in the winter sit by an open log fire and just relax. A three course evening meal with your hosts can be arranged at an extra charge.

There is a wine trail for chittering wines which covers 7 wineries. we are 45mins. from New Norcia the only monastic town in Australia,the coast is 1hours drive west ,this is where the Moore River meets the Indian Ocean, good swimming in both . to the east 45 mins drive is Toodyay an historic town.
Getting There:
Travel north from city on the Grt. Norther Highway, through Bullsbrook , about 35 km from Bullsbrook you come to a Historic church on your left ,about 1 km. past there is Tee Tree Rd. on your left , turn into Tee Tree Rd drive for about 1km to the seconed road on the right ,this is Donaldson Rd .Up the hill and at the bottom is a left hand turn into Forrest Hills Pd .we are the first property on the left , the gates are closed to keep the amimals in not the guests out.
