Cancellations:

ECONOMY SEASON and LOW SEASON excl special events, public holidays, school holidays and Easter A full refund of deposit is available on any cancellation prior to arrival date. ALL OTHER PERIODS A full refund of deposit is available on cancellations 30 days in advance. On subsequent cancellations refund subject to re-letting and administration fee. In addition a service fee of $20 will apply on cancellations of winter shoulder and high season bookings after May 31.

Children & Extra Guest Policy:

Tariffs are for the whole Chalet/house. There is no additional cost for children or additional guests. Tariffs do not include linen hire. The accommodation will comfortably accommodate eight persons for an extended booking, and can be appropriately comfortable for up to ten persons for a weekend booking. The maximum accommodation capacity is twelve persons. However we advise against this number for more than one night of your stay. With this number expect to need to be efficient in the use of bathroom facilities and kitchen facilities and economical with hot water usage.

Reception Information:

There is a local property manager contactable by mobile phone. Reception is self check-in. Details of key access and comprehensive guest information are emailed direct from Kiewa View on payment of the final balance, normally at least one month prior to arrival.

Car Parking:

Under cover parking for 3 cars, with a double garage and an enterance car port. (very important for winter skiers). Fully fenced property with total off-street parking for five vehicles. Room for mountain bikers to store bike trailer out of sight.

Things to do:

Kiewa View is a great spot to relax and unwind when not doing activities such as walks, biking, skiing golf etc. The property is fully fenced and the gates can be easly tied to keep toddlers within the property. The accommodation has picture windows in both the Lounge and Kitchen/Dinning area, with good views north down the Kiewa Valley. To the right there are views of Mt Emu and to the left views of Tawonga Gap. From the west facing lounge window there are views of Young and Simmons gaps. The rear garden pergola BBQ area is a nice shady spot in summer and there are excellent views of Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain. Directly off the kitchen/dinning area is a north facing sundeck. An excellent spot for a late breakfast in the sunshine, or afternoon tea or drink after the day's activities. The sundeck offers panoramic views down the Kiewa Valley, as well as a glimpse of Mt Bogong. The activities section of our website suggests a number of walks and mountain bike rides you can start direct from Kiewa View without getting in the car. The Big Hill competition mountain bike park, BMX track and Lakeside recreation area are all only a few minutes from the house, without the use of a car.
