From Melbourne take the Hume Highway turn off to Kilmore - Bendigo onto the Northern Highway No 75 continue along this to Tooborac then (approx 2k from Tooborac Hotel) after McIvor Creek Bridge, turn left into Hardings Lane. Continue for approximately 7k veering right till you reach a T intersection then turn Right into Dairy Flat road for another 2.5k where you?ll see a sign indicating to turn left into the driveway of Hut on the Hill. Approx distance from Melbourne = 118k Please call into farm at number 680 Dairy Flat Road for keys.

The room has heating and an overhead fan for warm nights, with direct acess to the bathroom and spabath. As HUT ON THE HILL is situated on a working farm, no pets are permitted and children should always be supervised near dams etc... You are free to wander over 70 hectares of rolling pastureland being careful to always close gates you've opened.

Office open from 8am to 8pm Owners on site.
Car Parking:
Ample onsite parking available. Must keep gates shut though as HUT ON THE HILL is located on a sheep farm.

Walking and enjoying the fresh air, sampling some of Heathcote's wonderful wines and excellent regional cuisine.
Local Attractions:
Pink Cliffs, Viewing Rock, Shelmerdine winery, McIvor Estate Winery, Emeu Inn restaurant, Cellar & Store. Golf course, kangaroos, cockatoos, emus & echidna can be spotted at various times throughout the year. Beautiful flora and fauna self see walks available through state forests.
