Once a miner's pub, Emeu Inn has been fully refurbished to offer six luxury B&B suites, a self-catering Cottage, a fine dining Restaurant and a Regional Wine Centre. The suites have queen-size beds and a sitting area, TV & DVD, ensuites (most with spas) and shared lounge areas. Enjoy coffee & tea with homemade cake and port. Relax in the beautiful garden with your glass of wine. Bring your dog; he's welcomed too! The Age Good Food Guide-recommended restaurant won't disappoint. Try the porcini mushroom and truffle risotto or the emu shepherd's pie. The "big reds" of Heathcote are plentiful. Enjoy with dinner or take your favourite bottles home. A continental breakfast is served as part of the tariff. You'll enjoy the homemade bread, jams and preserved fruit. You can take some jam or salad dressing home as well. Chef Thies has thought of everything. Enjoy a stroll along the main street, visit the Cellar Doors, play a game of golf or have a bush walk. It's all handy from Emeu Inn's central location.

Discounts do not apply during these periods. All Wine Club Members must identify themselves at the time of booking AND must show their card upon arrival. Failure to do so may result in full tariffs being charged. Check-in is 2.00 PM; check-out is 11.00 AM. A late check-out may incur a charge of $20.00 per hour. Check-in after 9.00 PM will incur a $20.00 surcharge. Cancellation Policy: more than 13 days notice ? full refund given less fees & charges 7-13 days notice ? 50% of deposit given less than 7 days ? no refund of deposit Prices are subject to change without notice.
The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

At Emeu Inn, there are several local wines on tasting between 11.00 AM- 5.00 PM. Enjoy lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. There are games, books, CDs and DVDs in the B&B.

Enjoy a stroll along the main street, visit the Cellar Doors, play a game of golf or have a bush walk. It's all handy from Emeu Inn's central location. There are several art galleries, a lavender farm and some great little shops!
Getting There:
How to get to Emeu Inn from Melbourne: Travel out the Tullamarine Freeway past the airport to Sunbury (or from Tullamarine, exit to the left, towards Sunbury). Just before Sunbury, turn right into the Romsey-Lancefield Road. Take this road to the end; you will be at the Northern Hwy (aka High Street). Turn left and travel another 15 minutes to Heathcote. Emeu Inn is on the left side at the north end of town, adjacent to the Heathcote Winery. OR Travel the Hume Hwy exiting at Kilmore (Northern Hwy). Continue north another 40 minutes or so until you arrive in Heathcote. Emeu Inn is on the left at the north of town, adjacent to the Heathcote Winery.
