Pristine beaches and many bushwalking tracks. Wonderful lake inlet as well as beach areas and Howe Ranges and Gabo Island views. Wonderful fishing areas both in the lake area and shore as well as ocean fishing. Many eating options with restaurants and cafes. Two supermarkets, butcher, baker and take away. Close to Eden and Merimbula for day trips.
Getting There:
Mallacoota is a six hour drive from Melbourne and Sydney. Train service available to Bairnsdale then transfer to bus to Genoa and pick up from Genoa by bus into Mallacoota. Closest airport is Merimbula - pick up can be organised by arrangement. Mallacoota has a good airport with people with their own aircraft - pick up from Airport available.
