Uninterrupted views of waves and the Scamander River mouth can be seen from the front rooms and verandah. Scamander Beach Shack is the ideal cosy getaway for a couple, keen surfers or fisherpersons! Alternatively, this small shack would suit a young family of 2 adults and 2 small children quite comfortably.The shack has been refurbished with new carpet and new furnishings. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. A heat pump quickly warms the shack in winter. Walk for miles along the white sandy beaches and take in the pristine blue-green crystal waters! Look out for dolphins from the verandah! Catch a bream off the the old Scamander bridge or try your luck at beach fishing!

With its stunning blue water, red rocks, white beaches and fishing lagoons, the Bay of Fires has something for everybody. What to see St Columba Falls & Ralph Falls St. Columba Falls is approximately 38km from St Helens (North East). While in the area be sure to stop for a cool drink at the Pub in the Paddock that has a beer drinking pig called Slops. The Columbia falls are high and there is a platform to view the falls as well as be able to take some great photographs. Within driving distance of Freycinet Peninsula/Coles Bay.
