Leadlight windows in the kitchen and entry doors have a gumleaf theme, as well as the lounge and bedroom leadlights contain a kookaburra and an owl in the moonlight. Gumleaves also border the kitchen and bathroom tiles. The cottage is in a quiet location, nestled on 30 acres of land with the Murray River, Murray Bridge and Mount Barker views from the property.
