Merlot & Verdelho Townhouses are superior luxury situated in the heart of the Coonawarra Region. Merlot (a Red Grape variety) is decorated with a maroon influence & Verdelho (a White Grape variety) is decorated with a green influence. The properties are designed to accommodate couples or groups. Sleeping 1-12 people, the townhouses can be private and peaceful or opened up for group bookings. Choices of a cooked and continental breakfast are supplied for you, and are maintained as required throughout your stay. A Bottle of Coonawarra wine and chocolates are complimentary on your arrival. Excellent location in the centre of Penola the site offers off street parking, with security coded keyless entry into the property and inside the townhouses. Walking distance to everywhere in town.

Cancellations:
The Deposit is refundable, less $50.00 administration levy if cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to arrival date. If less than 14 days to arrival date we will endeavour to rebook the accommodation, if successful Deposit/Full Payment is refunded (less $50.00 administration fee). If rebooking is unsuccessful Merlot & Verdelho, there will be no refunds. Check In Time is from 3.00pm Check Out Time is 10.00am

Unfortunately Merlot and Verdelho do not accommodate children. Each townhouse has 1 King and 2 Queen Bedrooms and can accommodate 3 couples or equivalent singles.

The Area The South East of South Australia has so much to offer visitors, rugged coastlines, mysterious caves, wines and food that are beyond description, so make it your priority to visit.... Penola is centrally located within the South East and is one of South Australia's prettiest and historic towns with a range of excellent restaurants and boutiques. Penola's heritage has largely been maintained and is evident everywhere. It is central to many tourist attractions. Coonawarra is a popular wine growing region. Vineyards and cellar doors are dotted along the Riddoch Highway adding charm and interest to the area. Mount Gambier (50kms South) known as the Blue Lake City, is built on the slopes of an extinct volcano, and is renowned for its natural attractions, beautiful parks and gardens and historical buildings. Robe (103kms East) is one of South Australia's most popular beachside destinations. As soon as you enter Robe an aura of old world charm is apparent, a feeling of calm and relaxation is apparent. Activities include fishing, swimming, sailing, sightseeing, heritage walks, tranquil beaches. Explore the rugged coastline around the obelisk or relax on the gently sloping white sands on Long Beach, one of the best swimming beaches in Australia. Naracoorte (50kms North) is a country town with quiet charm, many attractions for the visitor and a history settlement dating back to the 1840s. Naracoorte township has much to offer from a variety of shops, and eateries, travel further afield and notice the whole area is rich in wildlife, with the World Heritage area containing 60 known caves over a range of some 23 kms.
