Six self-contained units providing comfort and enjoyment at a budget price. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens and a relaxing ambience will complement your Kangaroo Island experience. Expect to be visited by the local wallabies in the evenings and see possums cavorting in the trees. All units are fully self-contained having a double bed in the main room, together with armchairs, table and storage space. There's a television and DVD for evening entertainment. The second bedroom has bunk beds - one up, one down. Your hosts live on site so are always available to help you enjoy the island and offer tips for the best places to visit.

Children & Extra Guest Policy:
The rooms accommodate up to 4 people in a double and bunk beds. Children are very welcome and we have a playground for them. they'll love the wallabies too.
Reception Information:
Reception is at the adjoining American River Post Office. When the PO is shut, just ring the night bell. If you expect to arrive after 6pm, please let us know in advance or call - 08 8553 7020 - during the day you arrive.

Car Parking:
Plenty of off-street car parking, and boat parking too - but do let us know if you're bringing a boat so we can try and place you in a unit where your boat can be close by.

Local Attractions:
Fishing, bush walking, sightseeing, wine tasting, cheese tasting, swimming, enjoying nature at its best. Kangaroo Island is not small at 155Km long but it's small enough so that all parts can be comfortably reached in a day trip from American River.
Getting There:
Follow signs to American River. When approaching the town, drive straight ahead past the General Store and then past Kangaroo Island Lodge both on your left. Shortly after passing Kangaroo Island Lodge, you will be Ryberg Road. Turn left here and follow Ryberg Road to its junction with Faile Court - about 200m.
