Magnificent views to southern waters and Adelaide can be enjoyed from the balcony, upper rooms and lower level too. Watch yachts sailing by or ocasionally seals or whales. Living quarters are spacious enough for groups of up to eight people with ample storage area in bedrooms, bathrooms and a lobby for your beach gear and eskies. Two fully equipped kitchens and gas and Weber barbecues let you choose your preferred style of cooking. During winter curl up for a cosy retreat in comfortable reading chairs by the upstairs combustion heater or play table tennis in the shed on rainy days. With quilts and pillows provided, all you need to bring are your own sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels to enjoy the delights of Second Valley and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

There are 2 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens with one on the lower and one on the upper level. BYO linen, towels and tea towels. Quilts and pillows are provided.

Cancellations will incur a minimum $20 administration fee, however cancellations for weekly bookings for December/January may forfeit the entire tariff if the cancellation period can NOT be re-booked by another party.

Car Parking:

Off street parking for 3-4 vehicles, with undercover parking for 1-2 vehicles, and room for 2 vehicles on street.

Local Attractions:

Swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing, scuba diving, walking, fossicking, enjoying local wineries, eateries, galleries are all popular activities in the local region. Periwinkles is located near both ferries that travel to Kangaroo Island, so is a great base for day trips or short trips to KI, or a short stopover if returning on an evening ferry service. There is a small local store approx 400m from Periwinkles, which sells hot meals. Leonard's Mill- a local restaurant and bar is approx 2km from Periwinkles, with other Hotels and shops approx 10-15 minutes away.

Getting There:

Driving to Periwinkles is recommended, directions provided with booking information. A local bus service also operates with the closest stop approx 1.5 km from Periwinkles.
