The self contained B&B is located at the lower level of the home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the 'dress circle' of Victor Harbor.
- Spacious well-appointed bedrooms ? room one with a space age queensize "Back Rest Chiropractic Latex Supreme" ensemble, room two a queensize super luxury pillow-top ensemble and bedroom three with two single luxury pillow top mattresses - serviced by a delightful heated bathroom with a bath, oversized shower and heated towel rails.
- A separate kitchenette/dining and lounge area is appropriately resourced for all your holiday needs. It is set up with a hot top, electric frypan, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, small oven, rice cooker, refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, filtered water etc.
- An enclosed luxury 5 person spa is available until 10.00 pm and is set at 37.5 degrees for your comfort. It is located in an outdoor sunroom set amongst pleasant gardens.
- An up to date DVD library of 50 volumes and HD widescreen TVs with DVD input turn grey days into sunny days.
- In total there are three TV?s. All bedrooms have remote control heating and ceiling fans for air circulation. A small evaporative air conditioner (while supplied) is rarely required as Victor Harbor climate is usually moderate and appreciated.

Location:
Scenic Encounter B&B is in the dress circle of Victor Harbor, and provides stunning uninterupted 180 degree panoramic views of historic Encounter bay and beyond. It is central to the McLaren Vale, Currency Creek and Lanhorne Creek wine regions, and a wonderful scenic stopping place on the way to Kangaroo Island. It is near the wonderful wildlife Coorong Reserves, and close to surfing beaches. It is a whale watching location (June to September) and houses colonies of Seals, penguins, and Australian wildlife. Aske Brenda or Peter and they will find for you paddocks of kangaroos in the wild.
There is much to do, much to see, and wonderful accommodation to allow tyou to appreciate the splendours of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

There is a kitchenette/dining set up with electric frypan, hot plates, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, rice maker, small oven, refrigerator, crockery, cutlery etc. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath as well as an oversized shower. We also provide a library of fifty DVD's for viewing, a stereo player and 3 LCD Digital television sets. A luxury five person outdoor spa is located in a sunroom at the rear of the home and is sanitised and set at 37 degrees for your comfort.

Where the unit is not fully rebooked a $50 administration fee plus $50 for each vacant day will be deducted from any deposit refund.
Cancellation caused by the client with less than fourteen days notice will mean forfeiture of the full deposit.
The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

Pricing is based on a standard minimum of $160 per night, with additional adults charged at $35 per head per night, and additional children (3-12 years) at $20 additional per night. There is no additional charge for toddlers, and a portacot and a booster chair are available at no additional charge.
Prices reduce for stays greater than three nights, and people staying six nights may claim a contiguous seventh night free of charge.

Brenda and Peter live on site and can be contacted 24/7.
Business Facilities:
Broadband Wireless Internet is available, and Internet access by arrangement. Photocopying and Facsimile is done on site at cost.
Car Parking:
Ample off street parking is provided in an area that rarely has crime concerns. By arrangement vehicles can be garaged for a small fee - largely uneccessary in this delightful and safe small city.

What to do in Victor Harbor?
Victor Harbor boasts historic charm, nature's spectacular sea-scape land formations and an abundance of wildlife. It continues to be one of the most popular destinations to visit in South Australia. We would like to help you discover the many attractions.
Easily accessible by car or bus, Victor Harbor is in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, 90km south of Adelaide. It's the perfect base from which to visit the wine districts of McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, the wilderness of the Coorong and the wildlife of Kangaroo Island.
You can enjoy unspoilt bushland and sea birds soaring, seals basking in the sun and dolphins surfing. You can visit Urimbirra Wildlife Park, which has over 400 animals including koalas to pat and crocodiles to feed!
Enjoy the remoteness of walking along unspoilt, wind swept sandy beaches or surfing classic beach breaks as you discover the South Coast.
For the Sports lover, there are 8 superb golf courses (Victor Harbor, McCracken [links], Fleurieu [Mount Compass], South Lakes [Goolwa], Lady Bay [links at Normanville], Willunga, Glacier Rock [9 hole], Sunset Cove) all within a 45 minute drive. Enjoy the many lawn bowling, tennis, and surfing opportunities along the South Coast.
Victor Harbor is steeped in indigenous tradition. Granite Island, The Bluff and Kent Reserve all hold great cultural significance to the local Ngarrindjeri people. Visit Kondilli the whale as you enter Victor Harbor and descend Kleinig?s Hill.
Enjoy the only historic horse drawn tram in the southern hemisphere (Established 1875) and ride across the causeway to Granite Island. See the penguins on a penguin tour, visit the whale centre and enjoy the below Decks aquarium and Sea Cruises. From June to October whales visit the area, and can be seen from the beaches.
And then for the more adventurous, Greenhills Adventure Park has 13 hectares of fun including archery, par three golf, paddle boats, water slides and go-karts. For the more sedate, be sure to see some of the best Art galleries in South Australia, or enjoy a quiet visit to the Wild Rose Garden and Miniature Village.
Getting There:
Scenic Encounter B&B is 85 km from the Adelaide Airport (allow one and a half hours), and not difficult to find. Bus services can get you easily to Victor Harrbor and local taxis can deliver you to your destination at reasonable cost.
To travel by car from the city centre or the Adelaide airport, travel south down the South Road to Noarlunga, and follow the signage to Victor Harbor.
When you reach Victor Harbor, drive through the town centre and onto the BAY ROAD. Turn left at the hospital and then:
- follow the coast line along Franklin Parade towards THE BLUFF
- Look for green Scenic Encounter signs which will lead you as follows
-Turn right into Battye Road,
- Turn left into Joy Street,
- Turn right into Theisenger Court
- Turn left into Millard Court
- Turn right into Bolger Way
