Some things to do in McLaren Vale in addition to visiting our great wineries is the Cheese and Wine Trail. Willunga is a must on a Saturday morning, you will be amazed at the range of local produce available at the market. For a most spectacular and romantic treat consider taking a scenic flight in a WACO biplane. Imagine the joy and sheer romance of a gently flight at 1,000 feet along the scenic South Coast.
Getting There:
On leaving the airport turn left and at the 1st intersection and turn left again. Follow this road across Anzac Highway onto Brighton Road . After approx 10km you will come to the intersection of Beach Road, turn left and continue to an intersection on Main South Road . Turn right and follow main South Road until you come to a Y junction. The A13 veers left towards Victor Harbour/McLaren Vale, DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD; continue on the B23 towards Cape Jervis for 8 kms until you reach Malpas Rd. Make a left on Malpas Rd, then make a left on California Rd. We are the first house on the left. It is a green roofed sandstone building with ample parking.
