Lush tropical gardens adorn the ? acre of the resort and each cottage has its own personal verandah with BBQ. Opposite magnificent Mission Beach and backing onto untouched rainforest. What more could you ask for? Stroll across to the beach in the early morning, swim, jog, run or laze away sipping that cup of tea, as the sun rises over Dunk Island. WOW! FROM CAIRNS On the Bruce Highway south from Innisfail you will come to the small township of El Arish. Turn left where indicated for Mission Beach just after the service station on your left. Drive along the scenic road through the World Heritage rainforest and you will emerge approx 15mins later near a small commercial estate on your right with Mitre 10. Take the next road right after the estate ( Cassowary Drive ) and proceed towards Wongaling Beach. You will pass the Mission Beach Resort shopping centre with the ?Big Cassowary? on your left, drive past and turn next left into Webb St. with the school on the left and the police station on the right. Drive down Webb St and turn right into Reid Road at the park. Cassawong Cottages are at 47-51 Reid Road and are on the right hand side with red and gold Balinese flags across the front of the property. FROM TOWNSVILLE The turnoff to Mission Beach is on the right about 1 ? km North of Tully. Proceed along the road passing through magnificent World Heritage rainforest past the turnoff to South Mission Beach. A short distance further on turn right into the first street, with the police station and school on each side of Webb St. Drive down Webb St and turn right into Reid Road at the park. Cassawong Cottages are at 47-51 Reid Road and are on the right hand side with red and gold Balinese flags across the front of the property. Cairns Airport: Mission Beach-Dunk Island Connections bus departs the airport at 7am, 11am & 2pm Phone: 07 4059 2709. They will deliver you to our door. Mission Beach Limousines pick up from Cairns and Townsville airports by arrangement.
