Cost for additional person in King bedroom is $ 45. Kookas Bed and Breakfast is not suitable for children under 10 years.

Car Parking:
Kookas B&B offers car parking on the property. We do have a very steep driveway but no problem to accommodate many cars at the site and turn large cars around.

Local Attractions:
Located in the suburb of Edge Hill, it truly is a snapshot of the tropics. In fact, only a 20 minute walk from Kookas Bed & Breakfast is the acclaimed Flecker Botanic Gardens. Restaurants and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitors Center are in our neighborhood, also tennis courts and Lawn Bowling Club. It?s not surprising then that Kookas Bed & Breakfast is also home to a vibrant array of native birds and Australian animals. The name ?Kookas? actually comes from the Kookaburra, a popular ?laughing? kingfisher bird that regularly drops by for breakfast.
Getting There:
Direction coming from the airport: turn left towards Cairns and change line for the next turn off to the right towards Edge Hill / Botanical Garden; follow Collins Avenue past Cairns Botanical Garden until you reach Edge Hill round-about. Turn right into Woodward Street and follow that street until you see Edge Hill Bowling Club, turn right into Jensen Street and follow that road towards the Hill to Hutchinson Street. There you turn right and after about 50 meters you will see Kookas B&B sign on the road side.
