Set in the magical Mary Valley, Lagoon Pocket Bed & Breakfast is a great combination of 4 star luxury, peace, adventure and convenience. We are just a short drive from the Bruce highway and only 8 minutes from Gympie. We are a pet friendly B&B. So if you like to travel with your pets do give us a call. All our extra large rooms are ensuite (one with full disabled facilities) and include a hearty barbequed breakfast full of home grown goodies. Sink into our luxurious beds and let the cares of the world waft away. Wrap yourself in our fluffy bath sheets and feel pampered. Enjoy the crisp cotton sheets and spoil yourself with our specialty toiletries. Lie in bed and watch TV with a cup of tea and a home-made cookie. Wear yourself out with the Rattler steam train, wineries, Borumba Dam, Bell birds, cheese factory, gliding, canoeing, fishing, riding, rain forest walks, swimming, gold mines, art galleries and of course Gympie ?the town that saved Queensland?. Or just relax and do your own thing - it's up to you. Whatever you decide we will do our very best to make your time here special

We are set on 12 acres about 8 minutes from Gympie. All our rooms are seperate to the house and have their own entrances and verandas overlooking the garden. We are easy to reach from the Bruce Highway but far enough away that you will hear the birds singing rather than the trucks rumbling!

All our rooms are seperate to the house with their own entrances and verandas overlooking the gardens. All have large ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, fridge. Our standard bed configuration is a Queen size bed but there is plenty of room for an extra bed or two Our room rate is for up to 2 people. Extra people are charged at $25 per person per night Pets, who are very welcome are charged at $10 per night.

Children & Extra Guest Policy:
Our standard bed configuratin is a queen size bed. But with our extra large rooms it is easy to put in an extra bed or two. Our standard rate is for up to 2 people and extra people are charged at $25 per person per night. These rates include a full cooked breakfast.
Reception Information:
We live on the property but if you are going to be early/late, it would help if you could et us know.
Car Parking:
We are on 12 acres so we have plenty of off street undercover parking
Things to do:
See the cows, watch the chooks, listen to the birds, local walks or just enjoying a glass of wine on your private veranda as the sun goes down.
Local Attractions:
The Rattler steam train, wineries, Borumba Dam, Bell birds, cheese factory, gliding, canoeing, fishing, riding, rain forest walks, swimming, gold mines, art galleries and of course Gympie ?the town that saved Queensland?.
Getting There:
You really need a car to get to us but it is possible to get the train to Gympie and a taxi from there. By Car From the South: Take the Bruce Highway to Gympie. As you approach the town you will see a turning to "Mary Valley Tourist Drive" Kandanga. ( This is the only junction with a brigde over the highway). Turn left and follow Mary Valley Road through Jones Hill and Long Flat (about 8Km). Lagoon Pocket Road is the first on the left after Long Flat Hall. We are 500m on the left. From the North Follow the Bruce Highway through Gympie. You will find the Mary Valley exit just south of McDonalds. Then follow directions as "From the south. NB If you are using an in-car navigation system, some have a fault and will take you the wrong way.
