Children & Extra Guest Policy:

Children are welcome but please note that the studio and one bedroom villas are set up for two adults. A small child/infant could be accommodated in the studio villas. The two bedroom villa is ideal for families with one bedroom with a queen bed and the room with a king bed or two single beds. The divan opens to double bed and villa easily caters for six persons. Extra persons are $30.00 per person per night including breakfast. Infants in cots - no additional charge. A porta-cot is available on request at no cost. Please supply your own linen.

Reception Information:

The reception area is attended from 8 am to 8 pm every day and we provide access to a fax machine, EFTPOS facility (no cash out). We have a small selection of movies on DVD available to the guests a no cost. Also a selection of music CDs if you require them. Ask us about arranging your tour of the wineries with one of Stanthorpes tour companies. Take the worry out of driving, they can pick you up from your villa and bring you home. We can also make bookings with many of the excellent restaurants in the town. Booking ahead can ensure you are catered for.

Business Facilities:

The reception area is attended from 8 am to 8 pm every day and we provide access to a fax machine, EFTPOS facility (no cash out). As we are located only 2KM from Stanthorpe mobile reception is available (3G) in most areas of the property.

Car Parking:

Each unit has its own car park area for one vehicle adjacent to the villa. There is additional parking near reception for visitors or extra guest parking.

Things to do:

Snuggle up in front of a log fire in winter, or escape the humidity in summer. Any time of the year is a good time to visit Stanthorpe. Each villa is set apart for privacy and in its own unique setting, perfectly positioned to enjoy panoramic views. Set on 10 acres in the beautiful Broadwater Valley right in the heart of the Granite Belt wine region and only 2 km from the centre of Stanthorpe. A unique development that includes 10 acres of its own original bush to explore at your leisure. (Guide need for some areas). Located on a steep hillside with a huge granite escarpment overlooking the units and with views over Stanthorpe. A short walk introduces you to the delights of the natural bush with grass trees, native lavender, wild flowers and birds. Be delighted by the unexpected sight of shy wildlife such as rock wallabies and kangaroos. Have a leisurely picnic from the top of the escarpment. Or shelter in the stand of pines nestled in a cleft in the massive granite boulder. A spectacular view of the Broadwater valley and the surrounding vine yards and farms will relax and revive your senses.

The property is located within the Stanthorpe township and provides easy access to the many attractions of the Granite Belt - wineries, bush walks, specialty attractions such as an olive farm, berry and fruit farms, lavender farms, markets, and many more. For the wine buffs or quaffers, the Granite Belt is the premier Wine District in Queensland with each winery offering something unique for visitors. There are more than 50 wineries in the area with cellar door sales, some with dining and/or picnic facilities. All are within easy reach of Stanthorpe either by private vehicle or even better, by taking an organised bus tour. We would be happy to arrange a booking with a local tour company for you. For the energetic person - talk a bushwalk in the four National Parks - Bald Rock National park has the second largest rock in Australia to Uluru (Ayers Rock); Girraween National Park is picturesque good for walking andThe area is also noted for our festivals, Apple & Grape Festival, Spring Wine Festival, Fruit Harvest in Summer, Brass Monkey Season, wildflowers and wildlife. bird watching; Boonoo Boonoo National Park is near Tenterfield; and Sundown National Park.

Getting There:

Self-drive: NORTH - Coming from Warwick, either drive through Stanthorpe or continue along the New England Highway. Where the two roads meet on the southern end of the town, continue approx 100 mtrs and turn left into Whisky Gully Road, turn left and left again into Brunckhurst Avenue, continue past Moss Court and we are the third driveway on the right. Signage on the front fence. SOUTH - Driving North from Sydney Head north on the New England Highway, past Tamworth, Glenn Innes and Tenterfield. Stay on the New England Highway until you see the Stanthorpe town junction (approx. 40 mins north of Tenterfield). Approx 100 metres before the town junction, turn right into Whiskey Gully Road. Swing under the rail bridge and turn left into Brunckhorst Avenue. 31 the rocks is just past Moss Court. Proceed up the driveway to the reception area at the top of the hill.
