As Fraser Island's only private campground, Frasers at Cathedral Beach offers a lush and quiet setting situated on 25 acres featuring convenience store with fuel, 24 hour power, camp kitchen and picnic areas. Guests may choose from a variety of accommodation including self contained two and three bedroom cabins or spacious level camp sites. Access to Frasers at Cathedral Beach is by 4WD only. Guests may bring their own 4WD or hire one from the mainland. Our campground comprises a total of 32 sites, all approx 12mx12m with 8 of these sites under power. Cabins vary from 2 Bedroom Non-Ensuited ( use of Communal Facilities) 2 Bedroom Ensuited (private facilities) and 3 Bedroom Non Ensuited Park Cabins

Kitchen facilities are 4 Burner Gas Cooktop, Fridge, Microwave, Jug & Toaster with outside BBQ facilities also available. All Crockery, Cutlery and Linen is supplied for up to four persons

Reception Information:
Checkin office hours are between 8:00am and 6:00pm, if arriving later that this time please contact us prior to your date of arrival so as to arrange pick-up of keys.
Local Attractions:
While on Fraser Island, take the time to visit scenic sites that include "Maheno" Shipwreck, Red Canyon, Lake Birrabeen, Indian Head, and Campagne Pools and the many inland access roads taking you through pristine rainforests ( the only place in the world where they grow entirely in sand )
Getting There:
Access to Fraser Island is either from Inskip Point via Rainbow Beach or from Hervey Bay via River Heads ( barge fees are additional cost ). Farsers at Cathedral Beach is located on the Eastern Side of Fraser Island, approximately 10minutes norht of the shipwrech "Maheno". Please keep in mind travelling on the Eastern beach is best between 2hrs before and after "high Tide"
