"old Timberlight" Guesthouse is conveniently located between Sydney (2.5hr) and Canberra (1.5hr) on the NSW southern Tablelands just 50km from the Historic town of Braidwood in the small community of Nerriga. Old Timberlight is set away on 2000acres 11km's from town with our nearest neighbour being 6km's away

Old Timberlight has no employee's, just Matt and Sue, and we are for ever at your service.

Car Parking:
Guests get to leave their car in our carpark just a short stroll to your cottage, while your hosts Matt and Sue will hand deliver your luggage to your cottage.
Things to do:
Guests have an opportunity to explore an old goldmining area with the remnants of old mines and living areas. Just explore the bush, or sit atop the Shoalhaven River gorge and gaze at the river 200mts below. Or maybe play chess on our oversized chess board by the lake.
Local Attractions:
Although Old Timberlight is situated amongst some amazing wilderness areas, most guests are content to stay and enjoy what Old Timberlight has to offer.
Getting There:
From Nerriga: Turn into Willow Forest rd, follow for 4.5km and turn left into Old Timberlight rd and follow for another 6km. When you find the little white picket fence you only have 200mtrs to go. From Canberra: Drive thru Bungendore to Tarago, continue straight ahead past the Loaded Dog Hotel, Take the 3rd road on your right (Cullala rd) and follow to the end and turn left onto Sandy point rd & follow to the end, turn right onto the Oallen rd & again follow to the end and turn left to Nerriga. From Sydney: follow the Hume hwy to Marulan sth turn left & go thru Bungonia and windellama to Nerriga
