Gourmet breakfast is included in the tariff. Other features include guest sitting room, verandah dining area plus a small private dining room and dinner by arrangement. The building itself has an appealing history ? built as the Tilba Temperance Hall in 1879, converted to a family home in the 1920?s, set up as Bed and Breakfast accommodation in 1990. Whether you are passing through or spending a few days exploring the area, Green Gables is conveniently located (the famous Foxglove Spires Open Garden is only a short walk across the road). What better way to experience the natural beauty of the unique Tilba area with its irresistible combination of mountains and unspoilt ocean beaches.

The Tilba area has lots to offer - the beautiful Foxglove Spire Gardens are right across the road from Green Gables; the Gardens include 3.5 acres of enchanting garden, the enticing Love at First Bite Cafe, the stunning Spires Nursery, and collectible shops - the Pineapple House and Forget-me-not Gifts. Browsing the shops and cheese factory at Central Tilba is a must. Unspoilt beaches and natural forests surround the Tilba area, many part of a number of National Parks. And the larger towns of Narooma and Bermagui are only 20 minutes drive away.
