Description:
A warm and friendly European atmosphere greets you on arrival at Candlelight Lodge. All lodge rooms have beautiful views of the mountain ski slopes, most have balconies also. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with private ensuite, small fridge, TV, DVD, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. Our family rooms consist of two rooms, and have x-boxes and DVD players. You can relax by the open fire in the lounge and bar area after dinner in the restaurant - winter only - and enjoy watching the snow fall over the mountain. Other facilities include in house massage therapist, sauna, wireless broadband internet access, guest laundry and ski and luggage storage. For the kids there is table tennis, table soccer and a selection of DVD's available to watch. Candlelight is centrally located with all resort facilities just an easy stroll away. The free village shuttle bus stops right outside the front door during winter. We have some on site parking available, this is very limited however and is first in first parked therefore we are unable to reserve parking spaces.

Local Attractions:
Thredbo outside of the ski season is a walkers paradise. There is a wide variety of walks within the Thredbo area as well as longer treks throughout the Kosciuszko National Park. Other activities include Australia's highest golf course, tennis courts, Australia's highest restaurant (at the top of the main chairlift which operates all year), wildflowers, trout fishing, horse riding, lots of cafes, restaurants and the Thredbo Leisure Centre which houses an indoor heated Olympic pool, gym, squash and climbing wall. For the more adventurous, there's also the bobsled and white water rafting. This wide choice of activities together with the great range of walks allows your club to work out an enjoyable and diverse program.
Getting There:
Follow the signs from Jindabyne. Turn right into the village from the Alpine Way. The road winds its way around past the river, and becomes "Diggings Terrace". Candlelight is up the hill on the left and is well signed for both daytime and evening arrivals. Shuttle services are available from Canberra airport.
