Temora Aviation Museum - one of the finest in AUstralia - featuring the world's only operational Huidson Bonmber, the world's only operational Gloster Meteor, two Canberra bombers, Australia's two operational Spitfires, a Vampire, a Boomerang and much more. All airctraft are opertional and in pristine condition. There's a theatrette where you can see them in action and hear the recollections of the men who flew them. Temora Rural Museum is 5 hectares of Austraklian history, including Sir Donald Bradman's first home (two rooms and a dirt floor) an old bush schoolhouse, a little country church, a Pioneer COttage, the bar of an old pub and much more. There's even a genealogy section where tyou can tracde your forebears. Temora Cemetery Tours - where those at rest a brought back to life by your guides who give yiou an insight into the early days of a country town. Ariah Park - a village frozen in the 1920's era complete with petrol bowsers down the main street. Junee - location of Australia's most haunted house, a superbly restored o0ld Edwardian mansion that is open for inspection, a licorice and chocolate factory and a railway roundhouse museum.
Getting There:
We're on the Burley Grffin Way - the main road between Canberra and Griffith. Just three streets east of the main street of Temora.
