Location The A-framed Cottage overlooks an enchanting valley that inspired the children's book and movie "Fern Gully". Centrally located just 15 minutes to the center of Byron, 10 minutes to Bangalow and 8 minutes to Mullumbimby. Features This romantic hideaway is a fully self-contained one-bedroom cottage which also has an upstairs loft. From the open plan lounge area walk out onto a large verandah overlooking the valley and it's beautiful sunsets. Enjoy and outdoor bbq next to the house or utilise the other bbq on the large verandah. Full kitchen facilities; full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and espresso machine. T.V. with stereo, washing machine and dryer. Heaters & "Fans" supplied.

Room Information:
There is one Queen bed and one Double Bed in this downstairs bedroom. This room has it's own heater, fan and wardrobe. There is a tall boy that separates the two beds with lamps on each side for reading at night. It's a good sized room with plenty of space to move around.

The loft bedroom has is accompanied by an "A" framed ceiling adding a sense of coziness without feeling closed in. There are two windows with blinds. A Queen Bed with a ceiling fan, writing desk and dresser drawers offers you all the comfort you need.

Children & Extra Guest Policy:
We have had numerous young one's stay at the Cedar Cottage from babies to toddlers to children and they all love it. It is a perfect country environment for all ages.

Car Parking:
Parking is just 10 meters from the front door. It is not covered but very secure.
Things to do:
With permission of the surrounding owners you have access to some beautiful waterholes between 15-30 minutes walking distance. Just give us notice so we can contact the owners to find out if it's okay with them. Most always it is but we prefer to call to let them know in advance.
Local Attractions:
Byron and Bangalow are only 15 minutes away and Mullumbimby only 10 minutes away. Mullumbimby has a skate park and Byron has a variety of activities available to you including Scuba, surfing, skydiving, ballooning, hiking, golfing, volleyball, basketball, tennis, kayaking, biking, Kite Surfing, Fishing. Byron is well known for it's large array of sport activities. Bangalow is well known for it's great shopping not to mention the pubs it offers.
