Built in 1998 Misty Glen Cottage is a fully self contained cottage. The property was established in 1985 by Carol and Jim Wright and has been developed and operated by them ever since that time. Situated on our working vineyard this charming country cottage is ideally located in the famous Pokolbin winegrowing region in the Hunter Valley. If you are looking for privacy and exclusivity... Then look no further..... The cottage has three bedrooms with queen beds in each room/two bathrooms full country kitchen, open plan living area and laundry. The cottage supplies all linen and towels. Includes TV,DVD,CD,VCR,microwave,dishwasher,four hotplates with oven, crockery, cooking untensils, pots & pans and a undercover gas BBQ area. Alarm system installed.

Car, Daily Wine Rover Bus Service. from Sydney. Directions.. Take the F3 Highway continue until turnoff to Cessnock and Vineyards keep driving arrive to Cessnock turn right into main street(Vincent Street) go to end of street turn left at Traffic lights then sharp right at next set of lights. continue along Wine Country Drive until you arrive at the information centre ( ask for directions) From Wine Country Visitors Centre in Pokolbin turn left onto Wine Country Drive..proceed along Wine Country Drive till you arrive at the third T intersection on your left... turn left into McDonalds Road keep driving for around 1.5klms then turn right into Deasy Road. Misty Glen Cottage is around 2.6klms on the right hand side.... Sydney- 2 hours; Newcastle 1 hour; Cessnock 15 minutes

Reception Information:
Drive to the Cellar Door which is aroung 50 metres from the cottage heading west to collect the keys for the cottage, we live on the property so we are here seven days a week from 10am till late...

Local Attractions:
Pokolbin is situated in the heart of the lower Hunter Valley vineyards. There are approximately 100 cellar door outlets as well as many restaurants ranging from casual cafes to fine dining. Other attractions include international golf courses, hot air ballooning, horse and carriage rides, antique shops, galleries and the famous Hunter Valley Gardens.
