Old Leura Dairy does have an on site reception that is open generally Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm. This is located under Moo Manor at the corner of Eastview Avenue and Kings Road.

Business Facilities:

Meeting rooms and business facilities are available at Old Leura Dairy. Ideally suited for team building, management forums, etc Meeting rooms comfortably fit 20 people.

Car Parking:

Off street parking is available for all properties.

Things to do:

A delicious outdoor share hot tub that is a converted milk vat. Great way to soak away sore walking muscles, reconnect with nature and yourselves while gazing up at evening stars. Beautiful landscaped gardens to enjoy, full of native birds and fauna.

Local Attractions:

About Leura: Leura is a very pretty town with a main street perfect for strolling and browsing. By day enjoy the many cafes, interesting shops and galleries. At night, feel the romance as the street twinkles with fairy lights. Take in sweeping views from the Sublime Point Lookout at the end of Sublime Point Road. Other lookouts are at the Gordon Falls Reserve in Olympian Parade and the Leura Cascades off Cliff Drive. The town is famous for its gardens and holds a garden festival every October when residents open their gates to visitors. The cooler climate suits many varieties of flowers and shrubs, which will not grow around Sydney. Leura's showcase is the Everglades Gardens at 37 Everglades Avenue. The garden was created by Paul Sorenson, acclaimed as Australia's master gardener, in the mid 1930s. Covering 6 hectares it is a formal garden of trees and shrubs. The Art Deco house is filled with memorabilia. Open daily 10am to 5pm (phone 4784 1938). The property is listed by The National Trust as part of Australia's heritage. Big and little children can enjoy the Leuralla Toy and Railway Museum, housed in a historic mansion at the corner of Olympian Parade and Balmoral Road. Leura has several other galleries, including The Candy Store with displays of nostalgia, including postcards and ornate tins. Leura also has a golf course near the Fairmont Resort, and several up-market restaurants. Katoomba is 3 kilometres farther on. Leura also has a very good golf course and several up-market restaurants. Katoomba and the world famous three sisters rock formations are just 3 kilometres up the mountain. The canyons of Blue Mountains can get as long, narrow, deep, dark, wet, tough and awe-inpiring as you want. Other outdoor activities Golf There are excellent links and facilities at Leura, Wentworth Falls, Katoomba and Blackheath. Gardens For over 36 years, visitors have flocked to The Leura Gardens Festival in the upper Blue Mountains to view some of the most beautiful cool-climate gardens in Australia. The Leura Gardens Festival is usually held in October, but the Blue Mountains enjoy four seasons so summer, autumn and winter can be just as delightful. The Blackheath Rhododendron festival is held annually in November. Scenic Drives Let us advise you on the best routes to see the best of the Blue Mountains and west of the Dividing Range to suit your time and interests. There is also a fantastic range of interesting shops in Leura.... why not visit one of the many antique and art-and-craft shops. Getting There:

Driving Instructions for Old Leura Dairy from Sydney. 1. Join the M4 Freeway from Parramatta Road Strathfield or at any number of points further West. Stay on the Freeway following the signs to Penrith. Continue on past the Penrith exits. 2. Shortly after passing Penrith you begin the climb into the Blue Mountains and soon will see black and white signs indicating the end of the M4 and commencement of the Great Western Highway (32). Old Leura Dairy is approximately 40 km from this point. You will pass through or by a number of small villages such as Glenbrook, Springwood, Lawson etc. Speed limits vary so be aware. Wentworth Falls is the village immediately before Leura. 3. After passing through Wentworth Falls continue on the highway until you reach the Alexandra Terrace off ramp. Take this road and turn right through the traffic circle at the top. Take the first left onto Den Hogan Drive and follow this road until you reach a fork in the road. The right hand road of this fork is Mount Street and will lead you to the corner Kings Road. Old Leura Dairy is located on your left and fronts onto Mount Street, Kings Road and Eastview Avenue.
