Cloudlands is not recommended for young children because of its cliff-edge location. Older children stay strictly by arrangement.

Owners/Managers live on site in main house next door. Guests requiring further assistance can simply "pop over" to see the owners .

Bushwalking, birdwatching, picknicking, in-house massage/facial/other treatment. A variety of interesting books and magazines for guests to read. Plenty of board games and puzzles, too! Great selection of dvds and videos in the Retreat. Cook up a storm using the generous supply of local products we leave for your lingering breakfast. In house catering available.
Local Attractions:
Bushwalking, birdwatching (guided or unguided), visiting galleries, cafes, restaurants, wandering through great bookshops and antique shops. Download a copy of the KATOOMBA HERITAGE AND ART WALK from Cloudlands' website! Lots of info on our unique Art Deco architecture and historic buildings! Experience High Tea at some great locations - The Carrington Hotel, Lilianfels Hotel or Bygone Beautys at Leura. Have an early Breakfast with the Kangaroos on a conducted "rendezvous " arranged by Tread-Lightly Eco Tours, or experience our nocturnal animals and night sky on another tour! Visit the Megalong Valley for horseriding, and great morning tea at historic Megalong Valley Tea Rooms.
Getting There:
Trains depart Central Station, Sydney's main station every hour. Catch the BLUE MOUNTAINS LINE train and alight at Katoomba Station, on the shopping centre side. Plenty of taxis at the station to take you to Cloudlands, which is a short 3 minute drive from the Station. Approximately 2 hours by car from Sydney. See MAP on our main web site for further details and information on courier pick up from Sydney Airport.
