It is an impeccably restored 1920s cottage, featuring charming period authenticity with all the current comforts. Brantwood features elegant French Provincial-style furnishings and delicate colour schemes that make the three comfy bedrooms distinctive and restful havens ? perfect for families, couples and groups. The new Victorian-style bathroom has a separate shower and a deep soaker tub for long, indulgent soaks and guests are provided with toiletries, fine linens and fluffy towels. Our guests receive a bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and chocolates plus a basket of tasty breakfast treats in the impressive stainless steel gourmet kitchen. Bird watching - Every day beautiful Rosellas, King Parrots, Bower Birds and Cockatoos visit our rear garden to feast on the seeds we leave on our Tulip Tree feeder. Stargazing - On a clear night the stars are amazing We provide a variety of DVDs, CDs, books, magazines and games including Chess, Scrabble, Pictionary, Monopoly - perfect for in-house 'rainy day' fun.
Local Attractions:
Blackheath is a quaint and welcoming village with some of the best seasonal colour displays. There is a wonderful selection of restaurants, cafes, charming antique and boutique style shops and a couple of friendly pubs. Local activities include Golf, Horse-Riding, Biking, Walking tracks from Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout or you could take a short drive to one of the various attractions such as the Zig Zag Rail, Jenolan Caves, Three Sisters at Echo Point, Leura Mall and Wentworth Falls, all with their own galleries, antique and craft shops, restaurants, cafes and walks. Picturesque Blackheath Golf Course is a challenging Par 69 course with fairways surrounded by colourful rhododendrons, azaleas, pine trees and conifers, home to many native birds. After a round of golf you are welcome to relax in the clubhouse and enjoy the atmosphere. The clubhouse has a brasserie, bar, member?s lounge and billiard room overlooking the course.
Getting There:
Drive along the Great Western Highway, past Katoomba. A few minutes past Medlow Bath, turn right at Chelmsford Avenue. Head down to the end of the street and we are located near Blackheath Golf Course.
